Murrelektronik flies into the summer

Fascinating insights into the world of flying at the Murrelektronik summer party

After a break due to coronavirus, our traditional Murrelektronik summer party for employees and families took place again this year as scheduled. We looked behind the scenes of Vienna Schwechat airport and took a bus tour of the apron. The highlight turned out to be the exclusive tour of the two-story Airbus A380 of the airline Emirates. It is not every day that one can marvel at the world's largest passenger aircraft at close range. Young and old alike were thrilled.

This was followed by a virtual reality flight that you could control yourself with your arms and hands. Even for the frequent flyers among us, the attraction was one of the most impressive and extraordinary experiences. Who doesn't wish to see the world from a bird's perspective! Finally, a visit to the observation deck was on the agenda, where the landings and take-offs of the planes could be experienced up close. 

The convivial afternoon was completed with a visit to the “Kurpark Oberlaa”, where the kids could really let off steam. While the little ones passed the time with seesaws, slides, water games, and a giant swing, the adults enjoyed Italian delicacies. What a successful culinary end to the day!
